Substack food Fellow - Natalie Cruz

In 2022 Substack asked me to create spot illustrations for some of their up and coming food writers in a program they called Food Fellows. The writers went through branding workshops and put together their own Substack newsletters. I created illustrations to go along with their chosen subject matter. Natalie Cruz is a food writer focusing on globally influenced street food, but her voice and brand are colorful and bright. So we brought some popular dishes to life with bright colors as accents to reflect her point of view.
