Deep Space Co-Op

Deep Space is a cooperative music & art space in Downtown Kansas City owned & run by artists. It’s a place where artists & musicians can come to create, rehearse, and meet. They wanted a mural for their space that brought some color to their otherwise stark white walls. I created a twist on 70’s linework that showed how Deep Space does things differently—starting out with straight rigid lines and exploding into organic shapes that fill the space.
